Our Facilities
Dutch Rescue Vehicles has a large and well-equipped service workshop, where you will find a team of 12 passionate mechanics at your disposal every day. Our mechanics are trained in vehicle maintenance (senior automotive mechanic degree, including APK (Dutch MOT test) and STEK (air-conditioning)), electrical, construction and pumping engineering. They use the most modern and complete kits of tools and measuring equipment. Dutch Rescue Vehicles can also draw on the extensive MAN dealer network for maintenance and repairs of the MAN chassis.
In addition, we do everything in our power to guarantee our quality at every level. Our service activities, for instance, are completely in accordance with the NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2008 quality management system standards. All relevant tools and measuring equipment are calibrated and tested periodically. Moreover, we keep the most important, repair-sensitive parts in stock at our vast warehouse, and we have very strict agreements with our suppliers with respect to the prompt delivery of parts.
This enables us to offer the best possible service. We focus specifically on the fire fighting and ambulance sector, including 24/7 emergency service, a solid substitute transport scheme and close attention both to people and the environment.

Ambulance sector
Dutch Rescue Vehicles offers a team of highly-trained automotive mechanics with considerable experience in vehicle and construction engineering. We guarantee national coverage with maximum expertise for your vehicle in collaboration with various partners (such as the official Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz dealer organisations) and our own service dealers.
Fire fighting sector
The fire fighting sector can also count on us to relieve it of all its worries, as we can conduct maintenance and repairs both in Hoogeveen and on site. Thanks to our modern service units, we can give your fire fighting structures and pumps a full service on site. Even calibrated pump performance tests on site do not pose a problem. In this way, we reduce the effects of maintenance on your response time to an absolute minimum. Furthermore, we offer the option of combining all ISO-critical and statutory inspections of the vehicle, the top construction and the kit in a single service scheme.
Multi-brand
We offer our service activities not just for vehicles we ourselves supplied; we are happy to take care of the full range of maintenance and inspection work for vehicles and pumps of all types and all ages. Whether a single unit or an entire fleet, we will offer you a total service concept that is tailored to your needs!
Substitute transport
We offer a number of options for renting or (short) leasing of fire engines for shorter and longer periods of time. We have a full fleet of brand new fire engines for you to choose from – a unique offer in the Netherlands.
Care for people and the environment
We attach a great deal of importance to care for the environment and our employees. Our workshop is equipped with an exhaust fume extraction system, ergonomic workstations and high-quality tools. Our waste flows are separated and removed under strict control, we keep very precise records and the building is made to collect leaking liquids. We also use biodegradable lubricants wherever possible.
Opening times
Our service workshop is open from 7.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. on working days. You can reach us by telephone between 7.30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
